Throughout high school I was involved with Habitat for Humanity and our annual philanthropy event, "24-Hour Relay," that benefits various organizations. I had also participated in my hometown's annual event "Walk the Walk for Autism," benefitting Charlie's Gift Autism Center. While attending IU, I have worked with Shepherd Community Center in Indianapolis and I participated in IUDM as an 18-hour dancer. I am also an elected Safe Sister, trained by IU Health Center's Sexual Assault Crisis Service, representing Delta Phi Epsilon. My sorority also holds an annual DIMES 4 DPHIE fundraiser benefitting Delta Phi Epsilon's Education Foundation, during which I was one of the top fundraisers.
During my junior and senior years of high school I was the co-editor of my school's Art & Literary magazine. At IU, I am part of the founding class of Delta Phi Epsilon and currently hold positions on both the Recruitment and Apparel committees. I also hold the Head of Marketing position for our philanthropy event, Comfortable In Your Jeans, and I was given the amazing opportunity to represent my chapter at Delta Phi Epsilon's International Conference this past summer. I am currently employed by RPS at Rose Avenue Residence Hall and was involved in Rose Avenue's Student Government last year.
