Delta Sigma Theta

Minors:General Studies and Criminal Justice
I volunteered at the Middleway House's The Rise, Boys' and Girls' Club, and Girls' Inc. I have helped at the Interfaith Winter Shelter last year as well as this year and have cleaned up Fee lane with fellow sorority sisters.
While in military training I was the platoon guide, responsible for 180 Soldiers. In charge of the whereabouts of my Soldiers and communicating messages from our Sergeants to the rest of the platoon. I now am a Sergeant in the Indiana National Guard leading, encouraging, and teaching Soldiers. Here on campus, being a member of Delta Sigma Theta teaches you other ways to be a leader. From teaching steps to my sisters to chairing an event. Being in my sorority has taught my better public speaking skills, which is always a good trait for a leader to develop and improve.
