Involvement:

I am currently involved in volunteering with Special needs at MCCSC elementary schools. When I go home for breaks I go to the nursing home I work at, on my days off I go and spend time with the residents. I go to Love Chapel in Columbus every once in awhile to help with the soup kitchen. In high school I was a mentor for young girls in elementary school and was a huge advocate for Best Buddies! I love to volunteer for various things on campus every once in awhile as well!

Leadership:

I am a Cox Engagement Scholar, which means I try to bring IU service learners to MCCSC special education classrooms. I contact professors, my agency, and the students weekly. I also have to check in and track the service learners hours to make sure they are doing what they are suppose to. In high school I planned/held a Halloween dance for special needs students. I also helped with the Josh strong campaign that my friend made.
