I am currently a mentor at El Centro Comunal Latino where elementary-high school students come in for help with homework or English skills after school. I started volunteering last year. I also was a teaching aid my freshman year at Fairview Elementary here in Bloomington for kindergarten and first grade students. I participated in KSB’s Alternative Break program last spring break where I traveled to Nicaragua with a group to teach English to first-third grade students for a week in Jinotega. I also do some group community service throughout the year (once a month) with my sorority.

I am the President and Marketing/Historian for Gamma Phi Omega International Sorority, Inc., External VP of ALPFA (The Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting), and last year I was the Academic Chair for the MCGC.
