Involvement:

In high school I was a volunteer at the emergency room and Cath Lab at the University of Toledo Medical Center, helping out patients and their families in whatever small way I could. I also volunteered for four years as an assistant coach for youth lacrosse programs in Inner City Toledo.

Leadership:

I was a captain on my high school varsity lacrosse team from Sophomore to Senior year. This was huge, and definitely a big undertaking when I was an underclassman. In high school I was on student council and a representative for my class for two years, as well as the president of the art club. At IU, I am a member of the Women's Lacrosse team. Although I'm not a captain, I still consider myself a leader on the team through my actions and how I present myself.
