In high school, I was an asset leader that focused on promoting healthy communities. I volunteered as a peer tutor for 3 years in high school, helping kids prepare for tests or learn material in subjects that were difficult. At home, I volunteer at Foodlink Food Bank in the winters especially, giving back to the less fortunate. I also volunteer to help our communities youth lacrosse program, and took a leadership role after only spending time with them for a couple of months. Since being at IU, I got involved with IUDM, and was a 12-hour dancer. This semester, I recently got involved with Project Kid Network, a club founded by another Theta here.
At home, I mentor and coach in our community's youth lacrosse program that helps girls from ages kindergarten to second grade learn how to play. In addition to that, I was also captain of my lacrosse team senior year.
