At Indiana University, I was a 36-hour dancer for IUDM; I am currently in the process of applying for a committee as well. I am also a Safe Sister for Zeta Tau Alpha where I am trained in handling sexual assault cases. In high school, I was a member of National Honor Society and Student Council where we had many events to give back to the community like food drives and Christmas events for underprivileged families. I also volunteered at Child Zone Learning Academy where I worked with children ages 2-10. I also gave time to the Griffith Public Schools Foundation on their annual events for the town of Griffith.
In high school, I was a captain for two years on the Griffith Pantherette Dance Team where I led the team in multiple regional and state awards. I was also the Vice President of Student Council and the Secretary of Class Council. My senior year, I was the Editor-in-Chief of the yearbook staff. I created a 24-page magazine, "The Edge", my junior year of high school where I was the Editor-in-Chief and eventually had a staff of 10 members my senior year.
